1.ORTHODONTIC EXAMINATION
A FlexiLigner accredited dentist in your area will check the current condition of your dentition, take dental impressions, and together with you determine the desired outcome through an appropriate treatment plan.
2. CLINICAL ANALYSIS
Flexiligner-orthodontists will work closely with your dentist, analyze your diagnostic data and clinical aspects of your case, and use a virtual 3D-simulation treatment to develop the most functional treatment plan.
3. 3D SIMULATION
Based on the indications received from the dentist, we develop the visualization of the current condition of your teeth with the help of 3D diagnostics (Ortho-Check). Then we plan the complete alignment of the teeth and the bite correction. It will be performed step by step with several numbers of aligners. How many aligners are needed depends on how much the final result differs from your current teeth situation.
4. TREATMENT
Once the treatment has started, you should wear the current aligner for at least 22 hours per day for at least 2 weeks and then change it for the following one.
Each aligner will cause a gradual movement of the teeth until you reach the final goal in the 3D treatment simulation.
5. END OF TREATMENT
At the end of the treatment, the patient may need to wear a special appliance (retainer) to keep the teeth in place, according to the doctor’s instructions. The period of retention will be decided on an individual basis.
